Marias Museum of History and Art - Shelby

This free museum has been in operation since the early sixties. Volunteers began the museum with exhibits depicting early settlers, merchants, ranchers, blacksmiths, telephones, and the armed forces. We also have some features of the Dempsey-Gibbons heavyweight fight and the famous buckskin Mary's saddle, and our museum is still growing. We have Victor talking machines.

More than 10,000 artifacts are exhibited in the ten rooms depicting early-day scenes and also special interest displays.
