Bon Iver is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Justin Vernon, who recorded what would become Bon Iver’s debut album, For Emma, Forever Ago, in 2007. In 2012, the band won two Grammy awards for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album for their album Bon Iver, Bon Iver. In 2016, they released 22, A Million, which went on to be nominated for another Grammy. With a Grammy, several nominations, and a legacy of releases and tours behind them, the Indigo Girls are still going strong. Amy Ray and Emily Saliers are the only duo with Top 40 titles on the Billboard 200 in each of the past four decades (including this one). They’ve always balanced their passion for music and performing with an unwavering commitment to social, political and environmental issues.
